Officially launched in 2020 by co-founders Mara Kroth and Johannes Heuschkel, GoldenMe is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on combatting loneliness and social isolation in people aged 55+. How? Through digital education and a unique opportunity to connect.
From the “Smartphone Café” and workshops on how to use Instagram, to E-Senior (a 10-part video series on EschTV which takes you through Internet basics), the GoldenMe community gives people the chance to learn more about technology and digitalization. What’s more, it’s an intergenerational exchange: younger generations can benefit from talks and workshops on important topics including mindfulness, self-development and personal growth.
