The GouvCheck app allows you verify, in real time and for free, the authenticity of official documents issued by an administrative body in Luxembourg.
If the document holds a QR code, which many of the official documents in Luxembourg do, the app allows you to check its authenticity (legal value) & its integrity (correctness of information provided). All you need to do is download the app and get started, no internet connection required.
The shift from “Digital Luxembourg” to “Innovative Initiatives” gives us the flexibility to evolve with Luxembourg’s changing needs. It reflects a shift in priorities too. Under its new name, Innovative Initiatives communicates on & drives projects in the areas of (1) digital skills, (2) data policy, (3) connectivity & (4) new technology—areas in which the Department of Media, Connectivity & Digital Policy has unique expertise.
“Digital” has become synonymous with modern society. Our name change trades “Digital” for “Innovative” in order to emphasize the root of what makes digitalization relevant: its potential for positive transformation.
