In spring 2019, the Ministry for Digitalisation, in collaboration with CTIE and SIGI, announced the creation of the first blockchain in the public sector.
This technology will help improve the transparency, reliability & security of public sector information systems & digital processes. With this project, the government displays its ambition to play a pioneering role in the field of blockchain, convinced that if the state makes significant advances in digitization and the use of new technologies, companies will be encouraged to do so, too.
