Banque Internationale à Luxembourg and the ‘Fondation Indépendance’ foundation, in partnership with the National Cultural Fund (Fonds culturel national) are offering a grant to help digital artists produce and circulate their work.
The main aim is to accompany the process of creating an innovative work in the field of the digital arts and new technologies and to display it at the Indépendance art gallery.
Applicants for the grant must meet the conditions and follow the procedure set out on the Focuna website.
The grant is awarded on the basis of a call for projects directed at all artists either of Luxembourgish nationality or living in the Grand Duchy who are able to demonstrate a professional career of at least three years in a discipline that makes significant use of digital technologies and the new media. Projects are deemed to include any innovative creation combining different media (data, images (whether animated or still), sound, text, videos, mapping, 3D, etc) using computerized procedures and digital technologies.
Applications must be made using the form available online; no other document sent by post will be accepted. The deadline for submitting an application is midnight on Thursday, 31 March 2017.
