The shift from “Digital Luxembourg” to “Innovative Initiatives” gives us the flexibility to evolve with Luxembourg’s changing needs. It reflects a shift in priorities too. Under its new name, Innovative Initiatives communicates on & drives projects in the areas of (1) digital skills, (2) data policy, (3) connectivity & (4) new technology—areas in which the Department of Media, Connectivity & Digital Policy has unique expertise.
“Digital” has become synonymous with modern society. Our name change trades “Digital” for “Innovative” in order to emphasize the root of what makes digitalization relevant: its potential for positive transformation.
