On 15 December 2015, UBI Global, the acknowledged leading analyst of the performances of start-up incubators worldwide, unveiled the list of the best incubators in the world and in Europe, among which Luxembourg’s Technoport got very high marks.
Out of 1200 incubators in total, 340 were rated, in 64 countries. In Europe, Luxembourg’s own home-grown start-up incubator was rated 5th in the TOP 10 “University associated business incubators” category, a category that comprises incubators which, although not formally tied to universities, work in close cooperation with a university, and are particularly noteworthy on account of the way they optimally nurture the start-ups that they host.
Like the 9 other incubators in its class, Luxembourg’s Technoport was lauded for its performances in terms of economic value-added, its efforts to draw investors and raise funds, and its post-incubation results.
