It has never been easier, cheaper or quicker to create one's own start-up in Luxembourg.
This is because the Luxembourg Parliament has adopted on 13 July 2016 the draft Law establishing the simplified limited liability company (société à responsabilité simplifiée – SàrlS).
As announced in its governmental programme, the Government is seeking to stimulate entrepreneurship by reducing the costs of setting up an undertaking and by making the start-up process simpler, quicker and more efficient.
The initiative is aimed in particular at entrepreneurs wishing to launch business activities, which, by their nature, do not necessarily require a substantial amount of start-up capital.
