Digital Skills Matchmaking Returns for Year #4 of Impactful Partnerships

Building new CSR initiatives by helping businesses & innovators ‘date’

The fourth installment of Digital Skills Matchmaking—organized by IMS Luxembourg and Innovative Initiatives, part of the Department of Media, Connectivity & Digital Policy—is headed to Nexus2050 on June 26, 2024 to continue its legacy of facilitating impactful digital skills initiatives.

Digital Skills Matchmaking events bring together digital skills projects and organizations that value corporate responsibility, drawn from the IMS Luxembourg business network. By connecting the two parties through a speed-dating format, the event intends to foster new CSR projects that contribute to the nation’s digital skills.

The 2024 edition will offer preparatory workshops on May 15 & 16, one for participating organizations & one for the project owners. The meet-ups help attendees get the most out of the two-hour matchmaking event. Contracted partnerships that result from Digital Skills Matchmaking will benefit from follow-up workshops to facilitate continued collaboration. More information regarding the workshop:

“After introducing the workshops last year, we saw a marked improvement in the number of initiatives that lasted for the longer term, ” explains Claudine Kariger, Senior ICT Policy Advisor, Department of Media, Connectivity & Digital Policy. “By holding workshops beforehand, participants arrive to the event more organized and prepared to find the right partner.”

Through the resulting partnerships, organizations gain support in implementing CSR programs, which engage employees and attract new talent, while project owners benefit from coaching, logistical or financial support.

Held at LUXEXPO THE BOX, Nexus2050 is Luxembourg’s newest technology event with a focus on innovations that support the achievement of net-zero emissions by 2050.
