The Luxembourg Tech School, with the support of Digital Luxembourg and the Ministry of Education, is a new extracurricular school concept developing Future Digital Leaders. The completion event of the 1st module was held during the 2017 Global Game Jam at the Technoport in Luxembourg.
The shift from “Digital Luxembourg” to “Innovative Initiatives” gives us the flexibility to evolve with Luxembourg’s changing needs. It reflects a shift in priorities too. Under its new name, Innovative Initiatives communicates on & drives projects in the areas of (1) digital skills, (2) data policy, (3) connectivity & (4) new technology—areas in which the Department of Media, Connectivity & Digital Policy has unique expertise.
“Digital” has become synonymous with modern society. Our name change trades “Digital” for “Innovative” in order to emphasize the root of what makes digitalization relevant: its potential for positive transformation.
