In May 2025, Luxembourg launched Accelerating Digital Sovereignty 2030, a far-reaching initiative based on three distinct strategies: data, artificial intelligence and quantum technologies. In outlining a path forward, the overarching strategy document includes distinct enablers for driving progress, as well as flagship projects that bring those ambitions to fruition. 7. Infrastructure (enabler #2): Sovereign digital capabilities, AI-boosted connectivity infrastructure & energy usage; LuxProvide will operationalize the upcoming MeluXina-AI alongside the existing MeluXina HPC, this will be essential to the strengthening of the digital infrastructure.

8. Service Ecosystem (enabler #3): Prioritizes an integrated AI innovation ecosystem, funding for AI development & adoption, & responsible AI experimentation; additionally, the AI Factory will play a crucial role in the further development of this ecosystem

9. Research, Development & Innovation (enabler #4): Centers on developing trusted, sustainable & secure AI; catalyzing research innovation; LIST (Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology) supports this by launching a technical AI sandbox to help developers ensure model trustworthiness.

10. Governance & Regulation (enabler #5): Setting up regulatory guardrails & reducing red tape via AI; implementing the Framework Convention on AI, HR, Democracy & Rule of Law

11. International Collaboration (enabler #6): Developing the LU-EU digital pole & global partnerships through diplomacy and annual events like Nexus2050
