As of today, 35 pupils are being coached on how to become tomorrow’s digital leaders. Supported by Digital Luxembourg and the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth/Script, the courses of the new Luxembourg Tech School start on 23 September 2016 at three Luxembourg Lycées at at the Geesseknäppchen Campus.
The Luxembourg Tech School is a new extracurricular school concept which aims at helping students get more acquainted with coding, game development and big data analysis. At the same time, the pilot project teaches pupils how to run a project from A to Z and how to turn a concept into a commercial product.
It is aimed at 15–20 years old students who are passionate about the digital realm and eager to learn and apply technology in a real business context.
The program is organised into three blocks. Each course is 12 weeks long and centered on one specific business domain. At the end of each course, the students obtain a certificate from the Luxembourg Tech School and present their projects to the real world.
Classes will be alternately hosted in 2016 and 2017 by three Schools: Athénée de Luxembourg (AL), Lycée Michel-Rodange Luxembourg (LMRL) and Lycée Aline Mayrisch Luxembourg (LAML).
