At the CHEM's (Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch) site in Dudelange, 5G technology is evaluated in a real-life environment through two specific use cases:
(1) reliable and fast access to medical data for caregivers through an efficient and integrated network, and
(2) improved communication between caregivers and patients.
As part of the project, CHEM has developed its own 5G application for accessing medical documentation. The project was presented to managers and decision-makers in hospitals and health institutions in Munich during the "Das Digitale Krankenhaus 2022" conference. The project will serve as a proof of concept and help the team define what technologies will be implemented on the future Südspidol site.
